Welcome to OfficeShark®. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of www.officeshark.ae and your purchase of products and services from OfficeShark®.

OfficeShark® is operated by Black Power General Trading LLC, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing our Website, creating an account or placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms.

1. About OfficeShark®

OfficeShark® operates an e-commerce platform supplying office supplies, stationery, computers and laptops, computer components, IT accessories, printers and supplies, toner and ink, label printers and consumables, networking equipment, office machines, office furniture, safes, pantry and janitorial products and other workplace products. Products and categories may be added, removed or changed from time to time.

2. Eligibility

By using the Website or placing an order, you represent that you have legal capacity to enter into a contract, that the information you provide is accurate and complete, and that you will use the Website in accordance with applicable UAE law. If you order on behalf of a company or organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to act for that entity.

3. Customer Accounts

You are responsible for providing accurate account information, keeping login credentials confidential and maintaining the security of your account. Please contact support@officeshark.ae promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. OfficeShark® may restrict or suspend an account where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, misuse or violation of these Terms.

4. Product Information

We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate product titles, descriptions, specifications, images, part numbers, compatibility information, availability and prices. Manufacturers may change packaging, specifications, colours, designs or included accessories without notice, and colours may display differently depending on your device.

If a product materially differs from its advertised description, your rights under applicable UAE law and our Returns Policy will apply.

5. Product Compatibility

Certain products, including toner, ink cartridges, label tapes, computer components, chargers, batteries, networking products, accessories and spare parts, may only be compatible with specified models. Please verify model numbers and compatibility before ordering. If OfficeShark® expressly confirms compatibility and an incorrect product is supplied, your applicable return rights remain unaffected.

6. Prices and VAT

Unless otherwise stated, prices displayed on OfficeShark® are in UAE Dirhams (AED). Prices displayed at checkout determine the amount payable for the relevant order, subject to correction of obvious errors. Applicable VAT will be handled in accordance with UAE law. Prices may change before an order is accepted.

7. Pricing and Listing Errors

Occasional errors may occur in pricing, discounts, descriptions, specifications, images, availability or shipping charges. If an obvious material error affects an order before dispatch, we may contact you to confirm the corrected information or cancel the affected item or order and provide the applicable refund.

8. Placing an Order

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase the selected products subject to these Terms. An automated order confirmation confirms receipt of the order but does not necessarily mean every item has been accepted or dispatched.

Orders may be subject to stock verification, payment authorisation, address verification, fraud screening, delivery availability and compliance checks.

9. Order Acceptance and Cancellation by OfficeShark®

OfficeShark® may accept an order when it is confirmed for fulfilment or dispatched. Before dispatch, we may decline or cancel an order where a product is unavailable, an obvious pricing or listing error exists, payment cannot be authorised, fraud is reasonably suspected, delivery cannot reasonably be completed, the order violates applicable law, or an unusually large quantity requires separate commercial approval.

If payment has already been collected for an order that we cancel, the applicable amount will be refunded through an appropriate method.

10. Payment Methods

Available payment methods are shown during checkout and may include credit or debit card, online payment methods, bank transfer, Cash on Delivery (“COD”) where offered, and other approved methods. Availability may vary by location, order amount, product, customer type or delivery method.

11. Cash on Delivery

COD may be available for eligible UAE orders where displayed at checkout. OfficeShark® does not charge an additional COD fee unless a fee is clearly disclosed before the order is placed. Customers should ensure that someone is available to receive and pay for the order. We may contact customers to verify COD orders before dispatch.

Repeated fraudulent or intentionally refused COD orders may result in COD being restricted for the relevant account, telephone number or delivery address.

12. Payment Security

Electronic payments may be processed by independent payment service providers. OfficeShark® does not intentionally store complete payment-card security credentials where these are processed directly by an authorised payment provider. Transactions may be subject to authentication, fraud-prevention or security procedures imposed by banks and payment providers.

13. Delivery

Delivery availability, estimated delivery time and applicable charges will be shown on the Website or at checkout where possible. Delivery times are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise and may be affected by stock availability, location, traffic, weather, courier capacity, public holidays, customs procedures, customer-provided information or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

14. Express Delivery

OfficeShark® may offer expedited or same-day delivery on eligible products and locations. Eligibility, fees and estimated delivery times shown on the relevant product page or at checkout apply to that order. Express delivery remains subject to stock availability, service-area coverage and circumstances outside our reasonable control.

15. Delivery Charges

Shipping charges may depend on delivery location, order value, product size or weight and selected delivery speed. Any applicable charge or free-delivery threshold will be displayed on the Website or during checkout. OfficeShark® may update delivery rates and thresholds for future orders.

16. Delivery Address

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and contact number. OfficeShark® is not responsible for delays caused by materially incorrect or incomplete customer-provided delivery information. Our delivery team or delivery partner may contact you to complete delivery.

17. International Orders

Where international delivery is offered, customers may be responsible for import duties, customs duties, taxes, brokerage fees, clearance charges or other destination-country charges unless expressly included in the checkout price. International customers are responsible for ensuring products may lawfully be imported into the destination country.

18. Customer Order Cancellation

You may request cancellation before dispatch through your OfficeShark® account or by contacting us. Please submit cancellation requests as soon as possible. Once an order has entered dispatch or has been delivered, cancellation may no longer be possible and the request may instead be handled under our Returns Policy. Nothing in this section limits rights provided under applicable UAE consumer law.

19. Returns

Unless otherwise stated on the relevant product page, eligible products may be returned within 14 days of purchase, subject to our Returns Policy and applicable law.

For a voluntary return of a non-defective product, the product should generally be unused, unopened, sealed, in its original packaging, complete with supplied accessories and manuals, and in resalable condition. Certain products may be excluded from voluntary returns because of their nature, assembly, customisation, hygiene considerations or other legitimate reasons disclosed on the product page or in our Returns Policy.

These conditions do not remove mandatory rights relating to defective, damaged, incomplete, incorrectly supplied or materially misdescribed goods.

20. Damaged, Missing or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order promptly after delivery. Our current Returns Policy asks customers to report visibly damaged or missing items as soon as possible and preferably within 12 hours of receipt so that the issue can be investigated quickly. Please retain original packaging, labels, accessories and your invoice or order number and, where possible, provide photographs or video.

This notification period assists our investigation and does not remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable UAE law.

21. Refunds

Where a return is accepted, OfficeShark® will process the applicable refund after the returned product has been received and inspected. Our current Returns Policy provides that approved refunds are generally processed within 2–4 working days after acceptance of the returned product. The time for funds to appear may depend on the payment method, bank, card issuer or payment provider.

Where practicable, refunds will be made through the original payment method. Shipping, duties or other charges may not be refundable for discretionary returns unless required by applicable law.

22. Warranty and Repairs

Warranty coverage varies by product and will be determined by the warranty information displayed on the relevant product page, invoice, manufacturer documentation or our Warranty & Repairs Policy. Where warranty coverage is provided by a manufacturer, that manufacturer’s applicable terms may apply.

Warranty coverage generally does not extend to accidental damage, misuse, unauthorised modification or repair, improper installation, liquid damage, normal wear and tear or other exclusions stated by the applicable warranty provider. Your statutory rights are not affected.

23. Devices Containing Personal Data

Before returning a computer, storage device, smartphone or other product that may contain personal information, customers should back up important information, remove passwords where appropriate, sign out of personal accounts and erase personal information where reasonably possible. OfficeShark® is not responsible for customer data that has not been backed up before repair, replacement or return, except where responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.

24. Promotions and Discount Codes

Promotions may be subject to separate conditions, expiry dates, product restrictions, minimum-spend requirements and limits on combination with other offers. Fraudulent or abusive use of promotional codes may result in cancellation. The conditions displayed with the promotion apply to that promotion.

25. Business and Bulk Orders

Bulk orders, quotation orders, corporate accounts or specially negotiated purchases may be subject to additional commercial terms communicated before confirmation. Where a separate written quotation or commercial agreement conflicts with these Terms, the specifically agreed commercial terms will apply to that transaction to the extent permitted by law.

26. Product Reviews and Customer Content

If OfficeShark® allows you to submit reviews, ratings, questions, photographs, feedback or other content, you confirm that your submission is lawful and does not infringe intellectual-property rights, contain unlawful or abusive content, mislead customers, include malicious software, disclose unauthorised personal information or constitute fraudulent reviews or spam.

You grant OfficeShark® a non-exclusive right to display and use submitted content for purposes connected with operating and promoting our services, subject to applicable law.

27. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise indicated, Website content including the OfficeShark® name, branding, logos, layout, text, product-page content, graphics, design, software and Website functionality is owned by or licensed to Black Power General Trading LLC and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party brands and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

You may use the Website for lawful purchasing purposes. You may not reproduce, commercially exploit or redistribute protected Website content without permission unless permitted by law.

28. Prohibited Use

You must not attempt unauthorised access to the Website or customer accounts, introduce malware, commit fraud, use stolen payment information, interfere with security, misrepresent your identity, use the Website for unlawful purposes, circumvent purchase restrictions, systematically scrape Website data without permission, abuse COD or return procedures, or infringe the rights of OfficeShark® or third parties.

29. Fraud Prevention

OfficeShark® may use automated or manual checks to identify potentially fraudulent transactions and may request reasonable additional verification. Orders may be delayed, rejected or cancelled where there are reasonable grounds to suspect fraud, unauthorised payment or unlawful activity.

30. Third-Party Services and Links

The Website may contain links or integrations involving independent payment providers, couriers, manufacturers, social-media platforms and other external services. OfficeShark® does not control independent third-party websites and is not responsible for their separate terms, privacy practices or content.

31. Privacy and Cookies

Personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. OfficeShark® also uses cookies and similar technologies as explained in our Cookie Policy.

32. Website Availability

We aim to maintain reliable access to OfficeShark® but do not guarantee uninterrupted Website availability. Temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance, software updates, network failures, security incidents, hosting issues or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

33. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, OfficeShark® will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss arising solely from circumstances outside its reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude liability for fraud, wilful misconduct or any liability that cannot legally be excluded.

34. Force Majeure

OfficeShark® will not be responsible for delay or failure caused by events reasonably outside our control, including natural disasters, severe weather, war or civil disturbance, government restrictions, transport disruption, telecommunications failures, cyberattacks, labour disruption, epidemics, customs interruption or supply-chain disruption. We will make reasonable efforts to minimise disruption.

35. Compliance With Law

OfficeShark® may refuse or cancel a transaction where necessary to comply with UAE law, trade restrictions, sanctions, customs rules, export controls, regulatory requirements or orders of competent authorities.

36. Complaints

For a complaint regarding an order or our services, contact support@officeshark.ae and provide your name, order number, contact details and a description of the issue, with relevant photographs or documents where applicable. We will review complaints and seek to resolve them reasonably and promptly.

Nothing in this section restricts any right you may have to approach an appropriate UAE consumer-protection authority or competent court.

37. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to our business, services, delivery or payment methods, security requirements or applicable law. Updated Terms will be published on the Website with a revised “Last Updated” date. Changes will apply prospectively as permitted by law and will not remove rights already accrued under an existing completed transaction.

38. Severability and No Waiver

If any provision is found unlawful or unenforceable, it will be interpreted or limited to the extent legally permissible and the remaining provisions will continue to apply. Failure by OfficeShark® to immediately enforce a provision does not waive our right to enforce it later.

39. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with applicable order details, product-page conditions, the Returns Policy, Shipping Policy, Warranty & Repairs Policy, Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, form the terms applicable to your use of OfficeShark® and your purchases, except where separate written commercial terms have been agreed.

40. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the United Arab Emirates. Subject to mandatory consumer-protection rights and applicable dispute-resolution procedures, disputes relating to these Terms or purchases from OfficeShark® shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the United Arab Emirates, including the competent courts in Dubai where applicable.
