Compare the printer’s supported paper width, maximum roll diameter and any core requirement with the roll specification. Width alone does not establish that a roll will fit.

Confirm the software’s supported printer models, drivers and connection types. Match the exact USB, Ethernet or wireless variant to the terminal’s available connections.

Check the print method. Direct-thermal models require compatible thermal paper; other receipt-printer types can use different paper and ribbon supplies.

Check for a supported cash-drawer interface and confirm the drawer’s compatibility. A socket that looks similar to another connection is not enough to establish compatibility.

Check the model’s features and package contents individually. An automatic cutter, power adapter and starter roll should each be confirmed for the exact product variant.
