With its compact, modern design and powerful imaging capabilities built on Honeywell’s extreme performance (XP) platform, the Solaris 7990g fits easily into existing enclosures used in high-volume retail checkout environments such as convenience, drug, specialty, liquor, and grocery stores. The Solaris XP features 20% faster scanning speed, up to 5 m/s motion tolerance, and a wider field of view than previous Solaris models. Honeywell’s field-proven XP technology handles poorly printed and damaged barcodes with ease. The Solaris XP is backwards compatible with previous models, making upgrades fast and simple.
